Every player puts up this exact amount from their vault before the match goes live — no deposit step, no signing. The winner takes the pot; in a team game type the sides are kept exactly even and the winning team splits it. A wagered team match needs an even number of staked players, so both sides are the same size and every seat risks the same amount to win the same amount. While the count is odd the match waits: one more player has to stake, or one has to leave. If the lobby runs out of time that way the match is called off and nothing is taken from any vault. The 10% fee is charged only on what you WIN, never on your own stake, and your winnings are paid out in the market token — but a player on the winning side who cannot be paid keeps their own stake and their share of the pot goes to the house too, so on a match like that the house takes more than 10% of the pot. A draw, or a match that cannot fill, returns every stake in full. You have to be in the match at the end to be paid, and a staked player who is out of the match for more than a minute in total forfeits their stake to the players who stayed — coming back later does not undo it. Shorter drops cost you nothing, but nobody who is away during the last minute of a match can be paid for it: that player keeps their own stake and takes no share of the pot, and their share of the pot goes to the house rather than to anyone else in the match. If nobody on the winning side can be paid, every stake simply goes back. If everyone staked against you is gone past the minute, the match ends there and settles to the players who stayed.
